Well, it's that time again...
I decided to give my little blog a new look and try my hand at web design. Nothing fancy, but just a little something different for when I go back to Cape Town. I guess it's kind of like a new outfit or coat of paint--same blog, just a different look.
This break has been great and it has been an absolute joy and blessing to be home with family and friends for the past six weeks. I was welcomed back into the land of endless cereal aisles and glossy produce by my entire family dressed in Bafana Bafana jerseys and draped with South African flag while wielding vuvuzelas. It was quite the homecoming!
The rest of my time in America has been spent cooking dinners and baking cookies (something new and different, I know) in my parents amazing new kitchen, sharing coffee with wonderful friends, taking part in the wedding of two of my favorite people, attempting to beat up my littleBIG brother (and failing miserably), eating ridiculous amounts of popcorn, sitting on Cotton House couches, sledding off of epic snow ramps, running in snow storms, eating as much Taco Bell and Mexican food as I can, and laughing with my ridiculous family and friends whom I love so much.
I've been blessed beyond belief with my community here and being able to spend quality time with most of them has been phenomenal. I'm rested, recharged, and ready to take on life's next adventures. So watch out Cape Town, I'm coming back!!!
